What is intellectual property?

This webcast provides an overview of intellectual property. Intellectual property refers to creations of the mind: inventions; literary and artistic works; confidential information; and symbols, names, images, and designs used in commerce. Intellectual property includes patents, trademarks, trade secrets, and copyrights.
